This weekend I went hiking with Zumito one of the many gorges that feed the river bed of Jerte . In this particular one, the throat of Nogaledo had not ever heard and really surprised me and for good. This flow of water runs along Navaconcejo and reach him through the village and crossing the river Jerte to a picnic, where we find the signal to traverse.
The trail is narrow and steep, then go up the mountain, but there are parts with handrails and steps made of rocks and wood in the most difficult for those unaccustomed to walking slopes. Anyway not to worry, since there are many pools where the water is beautiful waterfalls and let us relax watching the landscape view as we ascend.
The road up the mountain you pause when we reached a side road, and that we can follow up to see the birth of the throat (and very small at this point) and follow the road and get back to Navaconcejo through terraced plots full of cherry trees. We were lucky as some were already beginning to flower, so we took a few pictures of their flowers.
In summary, a relatively simple and short route that takes place in a very quiet evening going and who you will enjoy one of those corners Extremadura offers to enjoy nature.
