Requiem for a Dream

Well, I am now also part of another blog, Spooky Arts, and contributions will be doing there. I'm not sure the Osopedia will continue, so I leave (yes, you, the multitude of internet), this movie.

Requiem for a Dream is an excellent 2000 movie based on the novel by Hubert Selby Jr., 1978. It was directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Ellen Burstyn, who won an Oscar nomination in the category of Best Actress for her participation in the film, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly and Marlon Wayans.

The film tells the story of Harry Goldfarb (Jared Leto), his mother, Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn), his girlfriend Marion Silver (Jennifer Connelly) and his friend Tyrone C. Love (Marlon Wayans). The story is divided into three seasons: summer, autumn and winter.

tormented Harry lives with his mother Sarah, and while he dreams of a better life, she is permanently on a diet for the day to fulfill his greatest dream; appear on your favorite game show. The ambition of Harry and his girlfriend Marion is getting rich selling drugs with his friend Tyrone, and use the proceeds to open his own business, but never gets enough money to start your plan. A weight of all, Harry and Marion are not resigned to live a life they consider negligible, so do the unthinkable to get the life they love.

Roman Dirge is a famous artist / writer of comics, besides being also a magician, sculptor, filmmaker and director.

born April 29, 1972.
During high school teacher art class Roman warned not to pursue a career in the arts. He said he had no great skill as an artist, his style was too crude, and never could make a living by engaging in it.

began with the publication of the magazine's art on a budget covering the San Diego area. Jhonen Vasquez - the artist Invader Zim

Jhonen Vasquez is a great cartoonist creator of alternative comics published by Slave Labor Graphics including Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee!, Besides being the creator of the series TV Invader Zim.

Born September 1, 1974. It is also known by their pseudonyms and Chancre Mr. scolex scolex, or "JCV" (Your signature on the comics). He currently lives in San Jose, California.

A principios de los años 1990 la revista Carpe Noctem publicò tiras de una página que destacaban a Jhonny The Homicidal Maniac. Slave Labor Graphics comenzó a publicar una serie de tiras del cómic JTHM en 1995, el primer cómic de Vasquez. De él se hicieron siete publicaciones y fue elaborado como un libro de tapa dura.
